Sketch 58

Sketch 58 is up at The Scrappiest! It was a fun sketch to play with, and as you can see I did a flip with it to accomodate my vertical picture! I used Cosmo Cricket Joy Ride papers and chipboard from the Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend line on this layout. These two lines coordinate well I think. I love the versatility of Cosmo Cricket papers allowing you to "mix and match" them on your layouts! I loved this Joy Ride line, but was afraid to purchase it as I really had no "travel" or "road trip" pictures that needed scrapping. I am SOOOO glad I got it though, cuz as you can see these papers are super versatile and look great on this sports themed page! I hope you will play along with us at The Scrappiest this week, don't forget up for grabs this month is an awesome prize of $20 of STASH CASH...so what are you waiting for????

Be Happy

Here is another layout I made with my new March Personalscrapper kit! LOVIN' this kit, if you don't have one, you need to try and get one before they sell out, if they aren't sold out already! The papers and die cut/sticker are all by My Mind's Eye, the Quite Contrary line. This page was a lift of artist Skinnimini over at Scrapbooks.com. I love all the inspiration you can find over at Scrapbooks.com, some very talented ladies over there! I completed this layout for the Personalscrapper online crop challenge called GIRLS NITE OUT...my niece likes me to paint her toenails, and although I couldn't get a decent pic of her toes as she was too wiggly (as two year olds are) I was able to crop out the blurry part and get her sweet little face while showing off her new pedicure! If you have a gallery at Scrapooks.com, please link it up in the comments so we can stop by and visit!

Sketch 57

It's Monday again her at My Creative Endeavors and you know that means another sketch from The Scrappiest! This week's sketch is so fun, love that tree....the possiblities are endless, limited only by your imagination! My layout uses Crate Paper's Lemongrass line from the October 2008 Personalscrapper kit. I am trying to use up this kit and just have a few strips of paper left, so you will be seeing some more fall pages soon....it will bring me almost half way to my resolution for 2010 to use up FIVE older kits! I really loved this kit, the paper is just gorgeous! These are pics from Thanksgiving Day 2008, taken at a lake near our house. Sticker are from 7 Gypsies and the tree chipboard trunk is from Pink Paislee. Sticker letters are Thickers Daydream font, my fav of the moment! Hope you will consider playing along with us at The Scrappiest, I have been loving all the creative and stylish layouts being created by the fans of The Scrappiest blog! Happy Monday everyone!

Dreamin' of Summer Daze

I wish summertime would arrive, love the pool and the waterpark, but yet, don't like the heat...so guess I will settle for spring...summer can wait a bit! LOL! This layout is based on last weeks sketch (114) over at Sketch Inpsiration. It was a fun sketch and perfect for this picture of my son and nephew at NRH2O in 2005 (my little nephew's first trip, he wasn't even two yet!). I used this layout for the Latest and Greatest challenge at the Personalscrapper online crop as this layout uses my latest Personalscrapper kit from March featuring the OH SO LOVELY My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary line - this line is FABULOUS...you MUST pick some up! Erica has outdone herself with this kit, it is right up there as one of my all time favs! I also threw in some Cosmo Cricket chipboard and Jillibean soup and October Afternoon journaling spots. The Warm Summer Sun clear sticker is old old by EK success and adds a nice touch. Letter stickers are Thickers Daydream and My little Shoebox (small red stickers). Hope the sun is shining were you are, enjoy your day friends!

Sketch 56

Happy Monday again everyone! It seems spring has sprung here and as a result I am spending time spring cleaning and catching up with much neglected house repairs. Of course, since I do most of them myself it takes me double or triple the time a more "handy" person could complete them in, so I have been a bit absent this past week, however, been busy creating yesterday and today as there is another online crop over at Personalscrapper! It lasts through Wednesday so I hope to get a few more layouts done tonight and over the next two days! This layout uses sketch 56 at THE SCRAPPIEST. These pictures of my niece were taken last July 4th. I used the February 2009 Personalscrapper kit for this page which featured We R Memory Keepers papers. I added some Scenic Route chipboard and my mainstay thickers and voila another layout! I hope you will find time to play along at The Scrappiest, for your chance to win this months awesome prize of $20 in stash cash over at Your Scrapbook Stash! What a great prize! Have a great week everyone, off to take my son to his golf lesson, yes, spring is finally here!

Sketch 55

Happy Monday! It going to be a Scrappy Week...I can feel it! So let's start it out right with a GREAT sketch! Sketch 55 is up at The Scrappiest and here is my take on it. I had put off scrapping our parasailing pics from our vacation last June and finally decided to do it. Papers are My Minds Eye from the March 2009 Personalscrapper kit...going to try to use up that kit this month as I anticipate getting my March 2010 kit this week from Personalscrapper and guess what? It's My Minds Eye too!!!! Love their papers! Another popsicle stick from my OLD stash by Basic Grey, journaling spots from Scenic Route and K and Company, awesome sticker by Making Memories and thicker letters complete the page! Hope you can play along with this week's sketch cuz the prize is just awesome! TWO winners will receive a $20 to this great store! WOW! Now get to scrappin' you know you wanna win!

Sketch 54

Is everyone ready for a new week??? I'm not as I seemed have got nothing accomplished this weekend, but hey, I had fun and that's what counts right?? But nothing starts the week off right better than creative inspiration....and you have come to the right place for that today! Above is my take on Liz's sketch 54 over at THE SCRAPPIEST. You have got to hop right over to her blog to check out all the other DT's great creations, a HUGE variety this week, something that is sure to fit every taste and if not...well...that's what the sketch is for, so you can make it your own! Have fun with it and don't forget to put your link in Mr. Linky at The Scrappiest so you are eligible for this months prize package! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with! For my layout I once again used papers by October Afternoon from the Hometown collection (really digging yellow right now!)...letters are from American Crafts (Foam Thickers) and the flowers and chipboard are from some blog candy I have won in the past. The Daydream paper is a journal spot from Fancy Pants' Summer Soiree line, love these journal books! This picture was taken last spring right when the bluebonnets were starting to bloom...so ready for spring, aren't you??? I think this spot is perfect for pics and plan to use it again this year, its not to far from are house so its easy too! Happy Monday everyone, working on more DT stuff this week, can't share yet, but stayed tuned, I might just make something extra, you never know!
